They say a picture is worth a thousand words. For me words are the descriptive pixels in photography. My passion for the written word goes back to my Irish ancestors in the counties of Cork, Wexford and Galway. The Anglins came from Co. Cork and they were writers of history for Ireland. The Corish side of the family were from Co. Wexford and Co Galway. They were the fighters of freedom for the Irish people from Medieval period to recent modern times. Photography is another part of my family’s heritage. My Croatian side of the family are keepers of journals via photographs and film.

The last weekend of summer and I am reminiscing of how it certainly a busy season. In Northeast Pennsylvania we only have a few short months of warmth to pack in as many outside activities as we can. Looking forward to autumn with more fire pits, leaves turning to a brilliant multitude of colors and Sunday drives in the country.
